The first day of Lunar New Year is February 1, 2022. If you are looking for something to do to celebrate the Lunar New Year, head to AsiaTown over the next 15 days of the festive holiday season! Below are a few highlights to kick off Lunar New Year starting the eve of Lunar New Year:
Monday, January 31st, 6-7 p.m. Case Western Reserve University celebrates Lunar New Year with a fireworks display, popular Asian snacks, and giveaways for students. Fireworks will start outside the Tink at 6:30 pm. Dress warmly, come masked, and enjoy the fireworks!
Tuesday, February 1st, 11 a.m. Lunar New Year Day Community Celebration, Emperor’s Palace. Firecrackers, and Lion Dance.
Saturday, February 5th, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Year of the Tiger Lunar New Year Celebration, Asia Plaza. Activities include the following schedule:
