Medworks is a Cleveland-based, independent nonprofit organization offering 100 percent FREE medical, dental, vision, and mental health services to anyone in need, no qualifications question asked. How does this work? Medworks holds pop-up health care clinics in different locations around Northeast Ohio and invites local healthcare professionals from our world-class hospital and healthcare systems to volunteer their time to provide health care services to patients. These doctors are dedicated to providing high-quality care with kindness.
How is it that Medworks can provide this care for free? Medworks receives grants, sponsorships, and donations to fund this work, making it 100 percent FREE for patients.
Medworks goes beyond just providing a day of care, Medworks can also help patients find affordable ongoing care. Medworks Navigators talk to patients confidentially about their financial situation, affordable insurance options, affordable health care options, and can enroll patients in health insurance, help schedule follow-up appointments, and connect people to other needed resources, like food, discount prescriptions, and more. Medworks is here to help people find affordable care so they can live healthier lives.
Since 2009, Medworks has held more than 100 free health care clinics, providing more than 20,000 individuals with 45,000 health care appointments and services. Medworks is a trusted organization in the community, focused on unconditional care.
Medworks’ next clinic is a FREE vision clinic on Saturday, October 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The clinic takes place at Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute, located at 2022 E. 105th Street, Building I, Cleveland, OH 44106. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, go online to medworksusa.org or call (216) 201-9325. Approximately 250 people will receive free vision exams that day.
